Port mode modified in another CLI session, ignoring [no] switchport cmd
I can't find the meaning of this error message anywhere.
It occurs when doing the following:
Router#conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
Router(config)#int port 20
Router(config-if)#switch
Port-channel20: Port mode modified in another CLI session, ignoring [no] switchport cmd
Router(config-if)#
There is no other CLI session.
If I change the number 20 to 21 I have no problem at all. So I can say:
Router(config)#int port 21
Router(config-if)#switch
And I have no problem.
Also noticed that when I get the error message when configuring port-channel 20, there is the following entry in the log: - A traceback.
