I have a WS-C3750G-24PS that port (GigabitEthernet1/0/26 ) keeps disconnecting. The last time it happened I did a shut/no shut and it went back up. My opinion is that it is SPF. What debug commands or commands period can I use to isolate if this is a hardware issue or not?

not sure of some debug commands... but we can try the sfp in the port gig1/0/26 to another working port to check if we stil face the issue... if yes then issue is with sfp

you can test the port if it has an IP address configured on it. Change the port from layer-2 to layer-3 (routed port), put an IP address on it and try this command
"test interface giga 1/0/26"
if the port is working you should see this
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! passed
