Port Security verification

           Hello,

I'm trying to test port-security in my c3550 but when I show port-security int f0/23 shows it only "Disabled" as below:

     sh run

interface FastEthernet0/23
switchport access vlan 200
switchport mode dynamic desirable
switchport port-security mac-address sticky
spanning-tree portfast

Top#sh port-security int f0/23

I believe it should appear as Enabled is that correct?

Hi Rod,

To enable/ disable port security on an interface, use the below form of this command.

switchport port-security
no switchport port-security
