Solved: Portchannel Query

Hi,

I have two queries. First, is it possible to portchannel a combination of ports having GLC-SX-MM SFP and GLC-LH-SM SFP?

Second, If yes, then are there any anticipated issues with doing so, ie, any showstopper bugs or known hurdles?

Hi,

As long as the speed and duplex of both interfaces are the same, it doesn't mater you use single mode optic or multimode.

So, in your case (based on the part numbers you posted) both interfaces are 1000 base fiber with one optic multimode and the other one single mode. Portchannel should work fine.
