Hi
I have a range of static ip, username and password of the PPPoE account, provided by my isp. I want to configure PPPoE on my new router, and I want my ip to be in that range. My isp uses chap authentication.
The doubt is:
Should I use the instruction in this Cisco manual?:
Important note: I have a static ip range.
Thanks.

Hello,
as far as I recall, you can set a static IP address on a dialer interface:
interface Dialer1
ip address x.x.x.x y.y.y.y
If you have a range, you should use a NAT pool. Post the running configuration you have so far, so we can fill in the bits and pieces.
