Preempt Support in Sup2T-VSS

Hi team

We have 2 cisco 6509 switches with SUp2T and configured in VSS.The IOS running on the device is (

Image Version = Cisco IOS Software, s2t54 Software (s2t54-IPSERVICESK9-M), Version 15.1(1)SY, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2))

when we try to configure VSS it gives follwoing error

INBOMrc06GW01(config-vs-domain)#switch 1 preempt ?

% Unrecognized command

We have another VSS running on same ios with Sup720-10G wherein we are able to configure preempt..

This is due to bug :-)

Sorry I cannot share the bug as of now as this is cisco confidential. Kindly log the cisco tac case and someone can share the bug with you.

Hi inayath. . . .what's the supported code here.infact this is safe harbor IOS from Cisco which is having this bug for basic vss parameter..please suggest.

As I said the bug is still not fixed in the version which you are running, I cannot suggest the software which has the bug fixed on the public site. Hence I request you to kindly log the cisco tac case for further update on the same.
