Hello. I'm collecting equipment for the home Cisco lab. Have a problem with finding used cheap switches for lab, which run already on IOS 15.x or can be upgraded from 12.x to 15x. Can anybody come up with some suggestions? Will appreciate any suggestion.
Kind Regards
Jake

if you are not keen on hardware, why not use emulators GNS3/PNET/EVE ( CML- Cisco paid version 200$)

I like "live" experience. Besides that,I have very unpleasant neighbors
Just joking. The real deal is the thing for me. I was working with hardware installation a lot, never got the time to go from the software side. I was thinking about Router CISCO 2800 2821 1G/256 AdvipServic but it has only one port. So any ideas? Something with IOS 15 without ruining the home budget?

For router, get 1900 or 2900 series routers.

Hey.
Will 15.0.2-SE11 IP BASE image is enough to work on 3560V2-24TS-S switch for CCNA / CCNP lab purposes or I need IP Services image?
