hello,
if LLQ configured this way:
class-map match-all VOIP
match input-interface FastEthernet0/0
policy-map VOIP
class VOIP
priority 128
class class-default
fair-queue
lets say there is 256k bandwidth.
my question is:
- if there is voice traffic, would the VOIP class starve the bandwidth up to 128k?
- if there is no voice traffic, would the default or other class share the bandwidth in VOIP class?

Hi
If you have voice traffic then your 128K will be used and the remaining bandwidth will be left free for the other clasess.
If you dont have voice traffic then the other classess will be able to utilise the full available bandwdith on the wire.
