Priority-queue out on uplink interface

Hi,

When configuring [auto qos voip trust] on the interfaces connected to the phone, auto qos enable priority-queue out on the specified interface. However auto cos will not enable priority-queue out on the uplink interfaces g0/1-2.

Is it necessary to manually enable priority-queue out on the uplink interfaces g0/1-2, which is configured with mls qos trust dscp ?

Yes, otherwise - if congestion occurs, priority traffic won't be de-queued first.
