Private IP addressing Strategy

Dear Expterts,

I need you expert guide for defining the IP addressing Strategy for Group Locations.

We have around spread locations in around 25 countries.

We are using

• 10.0.0.0 /8 .
  
• 172.16.0.0/16
  
• 192.168.0.0/16
  

At present the IP addressing scheme is scttered very unplanned manner and conflicting many segments.

Now we want to define specific Stretegy for iP addressing scheme.

Can you suggest how should we define. Any reff. Stretagy document is there pls suggest.

Hi,

If those networks all somehow are connected with VPN or something like that. I would suggest to use on each site continues ip address range and then summarize them at edge router connected to other sites. Then I would recommend to use VLANs on each site to reduce broadcasts perhaps you already know it.
And dynamic protocol you might have a look on EIGRP however it's proprietary protocol it allows you to do summarize subnets at any point on the network or you can use auto-summary.
