Privilege user creation | C9407R

Hi Guys, 

I'm trying to create a read-only user in Cisco c9407R switch with only show privileges. I tried to do it by creating a privilege 5 user and assign privileges. however when i log via that username, show commands not working. 

Appreciate any help. 

Here is how i configure. 

switch(config)#username admin privilege 5 secret *********

switch(config)#privilege exec level 5 show run view
switch(config)#privilege exec level 5 show run view full
switch(config)#privilege exec level 5 show conf

              >... show commands not working. 
         - What error do you get when trying ?

Hi,

Not getting any error. but basically not getting the output. 

below is the output. 

switch#sh run
switch#show run view full

[marce1000]

 - Check logs when that happens (not getting any output) ; but from another session and with a full enabled admin  (all privs) ,
