Problem Connecting Nexus 5K to 2960 switch

Hi,

I am trying to connect a Cisco Nexus 5548UP switch to a Cisco 2960 switch. This is the setup:

  • Cisco Nexus 5548UP switch connected to Cisco 6500 core switch
  • Cisco Nexus 5548UP switch connected to Cisco 2960 switch WS-C2960-8TC-L on Gi 0/1
  • Cisco 6500 switch has the SVI that is the default gateway

I have attached the switch configurations for the nexus 5k and 2960

I can't ping the default Gateway 172.29.50.254 from the 2960 but can from the nexus 5K.

Both ports on 5K and 2960 are blinking green

What is the cause?

What are you seeing with a "sh int trunk" on the 2960?
