Heres the story, I was upgrading the newest software images on a c2950G switch. So i follwed the step by step procedures from http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps628/products_configuration_example09186a0080169627.shtml . I removed the current flash that was on the switch and then for some reason typed reload. This started the switch up without the IOS. Make a long story short I am now stuck in switch: prompt mode and I am unable to use xmodem to tranfer the newest IOS onto the switch. I am currently getting "no response remote system". I am using HyperTerminal. Any suggestion or ideas would be helpful. thank you

Do you have enough room in your flash for the new IOS?.
When you say:
I removed the current flash that was on the switch and then for some reason typed reload.
Did you physically removed the flash or just erased the IOS?
