Problems of access when using telnet to Catalyst 6500 CatOS

Hi, we are having problems to access the layer 2 services of Cat6500 using Telnet. This problem has began suddenly. Anyone have any idea about it???

what exactly is the issue here? you are not able to telnet to the core? how about telnetting to the MSFC or SUP?? Do you have console access to the switch? If so,can u make sure you have allowed telnet on the switch? Are you accessing the switch from the same LAN or from a different one?

Have never seen this on a catos box . Unless some other person has modified a permit list that may be on the box and denied you access . Can you ping your telnet address ??
