Problems with a HDMI - LAN extender on CBS250-24PP-4G

Hello, we have a CBS250-24PP-4G PPOE Switch in our House.

Two ports are used for connection to an HDMI Extender over PPOE/LAN.

The connection of the Extender works fine as long as there is no HDMI Signal over the Extender.

The strange thingis, that at the Moment I switch the HDMI Signal to the extender the complete HomeNetwork turns crazy and the internet and all the IP Connections failed.

Is there an oportunity to connect the two Ports in the CBS250-24PP-4G directly together? So that the both in and output Ports are connectet, and nothig can fail the rest oh the Home Network connections.

Regalds for the Help

Hi

Search through the Cisco Business 250 Series documentation below for "VLAN Configuration Wizard"

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/csbms/CBS_250_350/Administration-Guide/cbs-250-ag.pdf

This will show you how to create a dedicated vlan for your HDMI extender and apply it to the ports that they are connected to.
