qos in l3 switch

we need to have more features of qos in l3 switch, does ipbase is required or ips is to be considered

I assume you are talking about the fixed configuration Catalyst Layer-3 switches such as the 3550, 3560 & 3750? If so the QoS features are consistent across all IOS feature sets.
