qos queue-softmax-multiplier 1200 cisco 9300

Actualmente tenemos un problema de excess defer frames, revise informacion Cisco respecto a esta issue e indica que la siguiente configuración, ayuda a optimizar los búferes:

qos queue-softmax-multiplier 1200

Mi duda es el valor 1200 puede variar entre 100-1200.

¿como determinar que valor debo aplicar? En la mayoria de los casos aplican 1200.

¿el aplicar el comando, genera mas carga de CPU?

Defer?  As in dropped?

No, using the max value, 1200, should not impact CPU.  It can, though, have other adverse effects, but usually you will not encounter them.

Try it, and monitor results.

Again, for most cases, it only provides a positive effect.

Can you provide what IOS XE running on the device ?

and what causing CPU high to be monitor ?
