Hello,
We are installing Catalyst Compact 2960C-8TC-L switches in 65 retail locations, and in an effort to save some money, we are considering getting some training so that we can support in-house, as opposed to having to call on third party support.
Can anyone tell me if there is training specifically for this switch/os, or is CCNA the way to go?
Thank you,
Kevin

To be completely honest you can start by looking at YouTube videos.

Hi Kevin,
IMHO, I think CCENT would be enough.

Just watch out for the last date of the exam, which is end of Sepember this year.

Not sure if my company will spring for the training, but I will investigate that option.
Much appreciated!

for your requirement I dont think so any formal cisco training is essentail . You can train your internal team for basic switching parts using some packet tracer and youtube videos

The packet tracer stuff looks interesting, i will check it out.
thanks for your time.
