Redundancy Test Scenarios and Measurement Tools

Hello All,

We have big networks with Cores (HSRP and VSS),Dists etc.

I would like to ask how do measure your redundancy ? With Ping ?

For example when you shutdown your Core 1  what do you check ? and How ?

My issue is from network point of vie my network is redundant but from perspective of customer redundancy recovery times are slow....

make sure device are dual homed all your distribution/Access switch.

orphan ports (or single connected end points to Core will not work).
