Please share your experiences, what is the best procedure to remove VPC configurations. Details as follows,
Platform - Nexus 7009
Firmware version - 6.2(16)
VPC - vpc domain configured on a specific VDC
I have followed the following procedure to remove VPC domain from Nexus 7K.
1.Remove VPC member links
2. Shutdown VPC peer link
3. Shutdown VPC peer keep alive link
4. Remove the VPC domain
Just after remove the VPC domain the N7Ks stopped forwarding traffic. Then I suddenly released that my above procedure might be wrong, therefore I removed all the VPC configurations from both switches and reloaded them.
The both switches were rebooted and forwarded traffic for 3 minutes and stopped. I don't understand why N7K completely stopped forwarding traffic even after reboot and also without any VPC configurations.
Currently no operational VPC member links on these switches.
Thanks

If you have no operational VPC member links on these switches than removing vPC should not have any effect on packet forwarding. You may have encountered a bug and should open a ticket with TAC, so they can investigate it.
