Hi Guy's
I'm struggling to find a replacement for the Catalyst 3850, none of the new 9xxx series seem to offer a full SFP+ solution? Is there a direct replacement for this switch?
Many thanks

Hi there,
You are right, there is no -XS equivalent aggregation switch it he 9000 portfolio.
I think you best bet is to move to chassis switch like the 9404R which has a 24 SFP+ linecard available. Obviously if you are intending to find the equivalent of a single 3850 switch the cost of this option will not stack up.
Maybe contact Cisco and see if a 9300 with 24/48 SPF+ port configuration is in the pipeline.
cheers,
Seb

Thanks Seb, The main issue is that the price for those devices has gone out of control compared with the 3850. I just need a fibre access switch (fibre to the users). Since our budget is finite, I might have to look to another brand if I cannot find something reasonably priced.

Hi
Try with this link:
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/switches/switch-selector.html?
This site recommends Cisco 9200 or 9300.
Hope it is useful
