Replacing one unmanged switch with a spanning tree protocol ready switch useful?

Hello!

I am new to the network theme and run yesterday into a broadcast storm.
To my setup in the image below ive only unmanged 24 port gigabit switches.
My question is now if i could stop the loops if i replace the one 24 port switch with an stp ready switch or with my router Draytek 2925. Is maybe the feature IGMP Proxy / Snooping / Fast leave an option.

Hi, 

Your router is L3 device and it will not participate in the L2 broadcast and as per diagram broadcast limit till to "24 Port unmanaged" switch, which is connected to the internet so if you have any option as an internal switch in the router (I am not sure, I never worked on mentioned model) then also it will not work. 

This is advised to use the manageable switches in the network and configure VLANs.
