Hi There,

One of our production switch stack lost connection to the outside network and I am trying to pull log buffer messages for the last 10 days using "show log" command. However, I only see messages for today.

Hello!

Can you verify if that switch reload with a "show ver"? You have to know that there is not a way to preserve the log messages over a reboot, so If your switch restarted this is the reason why you can not see the messages. On the other hand how long is your Buffered logging? did you have defined it? maybe it is defined too small to keep all the messages that you would like.

Best Regards,

switch was not rebooted. Our servers lost connection to the switch and we have restarted the services on the server which helped us resolve the problem. The buffer size was set to 4096 bytes and shows that 77000 messages are logged. Is there a way I could pull those messages for last 10 days or see if there are any restrictions on those logs?

Please send the output from the "show logging" command.
