I did this on the router:

rommon 16 > IP_ADDRESS=10.1.1.103 rommon 17 > IP_SUBNET_MASK=255.255.255.0 rommon 18 > DEFAULT_GATEWAY=10.1.1.1 rommon 19 > TFTP_SERVER=10.1.1.1 rommon 20 > TFTP_FILE=c2600-c-mz.123-26.bin rommon 21 > tftpdnld IP_ADDRESS: 10.1.1.103 IP_SUBNET_MASK: 255.255.255.0 DEFAULT_GATEWAY: 10.1.1.1 TFTP_SERVER: 10.1.1.1 TFTP_FILE: c2600-c-mz.123-26.bin Invoke this command for disaster recovery only. WARNING: all existing data in all partitions on flash will be lost! Do you wish to continue? y/n: [n]: y

And then I did this again and again, I couldn't reboot the router, actaully this happend to two of my
routers.

Either this could be the issue with the IOS or with the hardware(DRAM). Try upload the new IOS from the TFTP and see if that fix the issue or not. If not try swap the working DRAM from another Router and update me.

Kasiraman S, you are correct, it is the problem with older IOS. I downloaded newer IOS and problem fixed. This problem took away my last night sleep and an entire Saturday fighting over these two routers. You saved my routers and half the weekend fun. Thank you, Thank you Thank you. You are a hero.
