I have an issue in my router and according to the results that I got, I have to open a tac with cisco.

We don't use SIP, so I don't have a ton of experience with it. You should be able to disable it if you don't have any services that rely on it.

As far as VPN, it won't be affected, but I can't answer with authority as to your CME implementation. If you don't have SIP phones, chances are you're not using SIP. If you're not 100% sure, you should create an outage window, disable it, and then reboot a couple of phones to make sure they're still working.

Hi,
I got the solution thanx.
but what happen if I disable the SIP tcp / udp services on my router?
already I have a CME and I have a site-to-site VPN connection. these services on my router will be affected or not?
BTW; can you provide me further information on SIP service?
