Router CLI no echoing back the last character

I have a couple routers that when I am on the CLI and start typing the last character is not echoed back to me.

For exmple when I type in:

show run

what I see is:

show ru_

if I hit enter it gives me the show run.  Doesn't matter if I use Putty or SecureCRT or telnet or ssh.  I get the same behavior.

Is there some terminal setting in the IOS I'm missing or?

Hi,

what is the version of your Routers?

Have you tried to upgrade them?

Is this just happening on a couple devices and all others have no issues? Have you checked the line VTY configurations on these routers? Post them if you wish.

I figured it out.  It had to do with double hopping off old switches into the routers. (i.e. logging into the switch then SSH'ing into the routers from the switch.)    The reason I was double hopping was due to having old SSH profiles in Secure CRT that fail to connect due to the Diffie-Hellman SSH priority check.  Fixed that too...:)

Got it, thanks for the input though.
