Hello,

both have their own MAC address:

Router# sh int fastEthernet 0/0
Hardware is AmdFE, address is cc02.bef4.0000 (bia cc02.bef4.0000)

Switch# sh int fastEthernet 3/15
Hardware is Fast Ethernet, address is cc02.bef4.f30f (bia cc02.bef4.f30f)

" show mac-address table " command shows the mac addresses associated with the interfaces . Are those mac addresses below the port or to the devices connected to that port ?

its the port the mac address is learned from , so if its the end port its that device mac if a phones connected or if its trunk it where its being learned from

so below vlan 151 mac 8463 is learnt from portchannel 127

i didnt get it . what i am asking is " show mac-address table " shows the interfaces and mac addresses.

are these mac addresses belong to the port or to the devices connected to that port ?

no its not the interface mac its whats connected to them, example below show it

xxxxx#sh int g0/1 | i addr
Hardware is Gigabit Ethernet, address is 18ef.63da.0f19

Those MACs are frame's source MAC seen in frames that have entered (or received on) the listed port.

"are these mac addresses belong to the port or to the devices connected to that port ?"

Logically, yes, Physically (as in directly connected), maybe.

"Does router interface has its own mac addresses ?"

Usually yes.

"what about switch-ports do they have their own mac addresses ? "

Usually no. However, switch-ports might "front" a virtual interface which usually has a MAC. That MAC would appear to be on the switch-port(s).
