Hello,
we have an online system used to provide our service to the customers, we used 2 cisco 3845 routers with
HSRP configured on both of them.
one router is the primary and the second is the secondary connection to provide redundancy.
there is Cisco ASA behind these two routers and there is a default route configured in this ASA to
route traffic to the virtual IP of these 2 routers.
we have a separate internet connection and we want to cancel it.
what we want to do is use the secondary router to provide internet to our intrnal LAN and still be a backup
for the primary router.
Primary Router:
interface GigabitEthernet0/1
ip address 3.3.3.1 255.255.255.192
standby 1 ip 3.3.3.2
standby 1 preempt
Secondary Router:
interface GigabitEthernet0/0
ip address 3.3.3.3 255.255.255.192
standby 1 ip 3.3.3.2
standby 1 priority 95
standby 1 preempt
Cisco ASA:
route outside 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 3.3.3.2
Online system:
ip address: 3.3.3.6
so what should we do?
Thanks

Hi Mahmood,
thanks for the reply, i forgot to mention the natting configurations configured in cisco ASA:
nat (inside) 1 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0
global (outside) 1 3.3.3.7 netmask 255.255.255.255
the cisco ASA is connected to Cisco Core switch.
but i didn't understand your question about what ip address i'm going to use from internet?

Hi,
i tried the follwing:
route outside 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 3.3.3.3
route outside 3.3.3.6 255.255.255.255 3.3.3.2
but with no success, so anyone has any idea?
