I have just purchased a 2811 rtr with an nm-cem-4te1 module and it seems that it does not come up during the boot proccess?
I loos like the it on the 2811 that 1 is the slot number?

If it is totaly not detected during the boot ie you are not even getting a not supported message then the card is bad. A show inventory command should always show the card.
These cards are confusing since they can run either t1 or e1. Nothing appears in the default configuration.
Try issuing the CARD TYPE command it should then create the proper controllers in the configuration. You will get a error message if the router does not see the card when you issue this command

Hi,
You need to use the correct IOS to support the card on the 2811. I've used IOS Software, 2800 Software (C2800NM-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.4(9)T2, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc4) the IOS should then allow you to add the card via the card type e1/t1 command.
