Hi,
I have managed to find the file for this switch listed in some of the Cisco release documentation. But for the life of me, I cannot find where to download the software for it. I am looking for the latest version of software that starts with "c2960c405ex" because my switch is a lanbase. But doesn't have the web pages.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@TorvaFirmus I wrote to cisco support. They said me that this switch support is out of life and they can't help me. They said that I need to buy new model switch Xd. I found the latest firmware in one of sites in our country where people help each other download cisco firmware. bin file and tar archive I packed to zip because this forum doesn't allow to attach bin file and tar firmware file. These files were downloaded from cisco.com at the 19 november 2021.

you can download from cisco site :
https://software.cisco.com/download/home/283915790/type/280805680/release/15.2.7E9
because my switch is a lanbase. But doesn't have the web pages.
not sure if i understand this correctly you looking GUI based then you need to install tar image mentioned in the above URL for GUI access, if not .bin file good enough to run the device.

What is the colour of the switch, is it white?
Post the complete output to the command "dir".

The switch is white and the flash is shown in the image. It is using an "ex" universal (c2960c405ex-universalk9)

Enter the filename "c2960c405ex-universalk9-tar.152-2.E9.tar" into a web search engine and see result.

Thanks. I have done that. The only place that I have found to download the file from. Goes to a connection refused page. So, I still have not been able to download this file.

personally i would not advise to download from other sites, until you want to take risk of using it.
The issue you reporting here is you want to GUI for the switch (is this what challenge here ?)

we are trying to help you, but in this instance you have only choice to use cli only.

Thank you. I was hoping that someone could point me to a location that I haven't found yet. Or maybe have an idea why the only place it can be found is in the release notes.

If i were you - if you looking to try
you can download below .bin file from Cisco site :
copy exiting copy if .bin file from switch safe side
and boot with new .bin file and boot - if that works you can install the TAR file from same site.

Not taking that risk. I was thinking of making my own tar using the existing firmware and HTML from 2960C. That way if it doesn't work, the switch can still work as normal.
