Hi, I need to load balance a single IP address in 2x different NIC cards and 2x different switches. I saw one of the discussions here:
But when we checked our Cisco 3750 Core switch, it does have the class-map function but not the sub function "virtual-address"
Is there a need for IOS upgrade? our current IOS is 12.2
Thanks
Jeff

Hi,
The link you are referring to is using an ACE module for the 6500 series for load balancing and not Cisco 3750 switch. I am not sure if the "virtual-address" is supported in the 3750 series.
I also tried it on a 3850 and was not available.

I see, it was definitely a great help. Thanks for the info. I guess my plan to load balance the IP is not possible anymore :)
I've also read that this module is already EOL. Is there a new model/replacement for this ACE module?
Thanks
Jeff
