SF 300 Enable CLI for putty

Hi,

I've got a Cisco SF300 small business switch 24 port, when reaching my switch with 'putty' it comes up with 8 options e.g. Port Settings then last option is 'Exit'.

I'm looking to enable the command line interface console to use in putty, I've read the Cisco online manual but didn't cover anything about it.

Any help will be much appreciated! I'm currently using the online web portal for my switch.

Hi @balaji.bandi ,

I followed these steps, the SSH is already enabled on the switch although the option isn't there when creating / editing either user? Screenshot below.

When trying to use SSH port 23 in PUTTY it displays 'Connection Refused' without even having chance to login.

Resolved issue by updating firmware & boot firmware.
