SFP Is not supporting Cisco2960S switch

Dear Team, 

 

we have 8 cisco switch 2960s. We want to use the SFP (Allied Telesis). 

But cisco switch is not supporting the SFP . please anyone give to us command or any trouble shooting steps there we can connect to cisco switch296s. 

SFP model is 

The Alliedtelesis AT-SPLX10 4 334.51 5 1,338.04
SFP Pluggable Optical Module, 1000LX10, 10km, Single mode, Dual fiber
[Tx=1310,Rx=1310], LC conn. (0 to 70°C)

Look that the cisco support matrix.

make sure they are compatible, if any hadware falure, you loose warranty.

in addition to Balaji's post, you can always try the global command 'service unsupported-transceiver', that sometimes detects SFPs that are not in the compatibility matrix...
