SFP not supported on Cisco 3850

I have a Cisco 3850 stack (2 Switches C3850-48T) with one 2x1G 2x10G Uplink fiber Module in each switch, here is the problem I have come across, I currently have two 10G fiber connections (one in 2/1/3 and 2/1/4) working and I want to use one of the 1G ports for a single mode SFP in slot 2/1/1 when the module is inserted I am getting...module unsupported then puts the port into err disabled mode. Just wondering if this is possible or by using the 10G ports the 1G ports cant be used, any help would be appreciated thanks.

It should work and if your SFP is not supported, try the command: service unsupported-transceiver
