Hello,
we have 93180YC-EX switch and Dell PowerEdge R740 Server. The issue is with hot swap of SFP28 cables, the link goes down. After restarting the server the link is back up. SFP+ cables hot swap work OK. SFP28 cables supplied with the server.
Any idea what can cause the issue? Thanks

i never come across any Cisco to cisco device removing Twinax cable and put them back - work as expected.
worth checking Logs what is wrong on both the sides.

To be honest, there is very short info in log, server side shows NIC down, switch port also, interface down, that's it
The situation is really strange, when the cable is pulled out for short time and inserted again, link remains down, but after server restarted it is Up again. Mystery

As i mentioned i do not see any issue Switch side, you can simulate switch to switch for testing.
we are not sure the Server can be a hotplug-based config can accept?
to understand best can you post interface config ? is this port channel ?

just to mention again, it works fine with SFP+ cables, so server definitely accept it
