Hi All,
I need an help that Newly installed SG550x-48P (two devices) continue rebooting in stacking. If I will remove the stacking or keep only one device then it will work fine. Please guide.
2nd questions: I confirmed trunk port between SG550X and SG350-10P switch, now the communication is working fine but SG550X port is showing as POE device and consuming 30W for this switch. Anyne having any experience for the same.
Yesterday late night I faced those issues and checked only from the remote. I don't have much deeply technical details. Today, I will go at site and will check.
Help me if anyone faced same issue and work around it.
Thanks,
Deepak Kumar

- Which will be difficult, to determine what is going on, look at logging (show logging) around these periods of restarts, watch out for any anomalies. Also configure syslogging and snmp trap logging (for all events) to a syslog server (for syslog) and an snmp trap receiver for snmp traps. Again watch out for not expected messages for both protocols. And or 'last gasp' messages on the syslog server , for instance. Also watchout for strange messages during the bootup.

- Probably a software bug, check current installed version(s); upgrade to a gold-starred release if available, or else to the most recent release for your platform.

Hi,
This is LLDP protocol issue with Avaya phones. Right now, Cisco is looking in detail but no permanent solution yet. There is work around to disable the LLDP protocol.

Hi,
we have the same issue on a 350x stack.
As far as I figuered out It really depends on LLDP-MED and OUI voice vlan. Everytime we reboot a phone, one of the stack members (mostly the master device) reboots.
