SG300 - 28P - upgrade

Hello 

i would like to upgrade my cisco sg300 28p with latest firmware version. 

currently switch is running: Firmware Version (Active Image): 1.2.7.76

with boot version - 1.1.0.6

i can't find latest version for that model, in addition, do i need to upgrade the boot version as well?

Firmware upgrade take care of all as per i know this models.

1.4.X is the latest here is the link.

i was trying to upload sx300_fw-14115.ros, but i'm getting error 

Error Message:Illegal software format

You need to step upgrade 1.3 then 1.4.X i guess here :

get below one test it, take the config backup all them when you upgrade to new version.

i as able to install 1.3.7.18 , but when trying to upload sx300_fw-14115.ros , i'm getting error "SW code file is over sized"

how do i delete the old image from switch? 

i access to switch directory by "dir", then delete image-2

switch4fdc60#delete image-2
Delete flash://image-2? (Y/N)[N] Y
Delete operation is not permitted on file flash://image-2

please advice.
