Hello, i have double conected my switch sg350X from switch1.
In sg350X i have ports 1-10 in VLAN 1 and ports 11-20 in VLAN 2.
In ports 1 and 11 i have uplink from switch1. But here is problem: ports working only 1-10 but ports 11-20 in VLAN 2 doesnt work and in spanning tree i see port 11-uplink as backup....
Why its showing backup when it is in another VLAN...?
Help me pls with it i need working both ports...
Thanks.

My case:
I have four floors and in every floor is switch connected to main rack by two utp.
In main rack i have router and switch.
I have two subnets - in main rack i have splited switch: GE1-GE12 -VLAN10 and GE13-GE24 -VLAN20
This two VLANs i have connected to router:
192.168.60.X - from router to GE1
192.168.70.X - from router to GE13
Its mean when i connect to GE2 i get IP from subnet 192.168.60.X.
When i connect to GE14 i get IP from subnet 192.168.70.X.
Its work perfect but i have probllem with switches in floors.
In floors i have splited switches as well main switch in main rack.
Its mean: For example first floor:
Switch is splitted GE1-GE12 -VLAN10 and GE13-GE24 -VLAN20
GE1 is connected to main switch to port GE2 (subnet: 192.168.60.X)
GE13 is connected to main switch to port GE14 (subnet: 192.168.70.X)
And here is probllem in floor switch work only GE1-GE12 (subnet 192.168.60.X) GE13-GE24 (subnet: 192.168.70.X) doesnt work - i dont get IP. And in spanning tree its showing GE13 as backup port WHY? when its different VLAN.
(Yes its work when i turn off spanning tree)
Need help pls.

I assume these ports configured differently - that is the reason spanning tree kick off make it as alternative link.
best suggest between main switch to floor switch make it as Port-channel ( so you have redundancy and allow VLAN 10 and 20 in that)
GE1 / GE 13 --- Port-channel ----- GE2 / GE14 ( allowed VLAN 10, 20)
Disable Spanning-tree not the best practice.

Thank you very much.
But as port chanel you mean LAG (link aggregation)....?

Yes please.

And btw. is it possible double connected switch in another vlan without blocking one of them port...?

what you mean double connected ? explain more ?

For example i have two same switches.
Both switches splited like:
GE1-GE12 VLAN1
GE13-GE24 VLAN2
Connected by UTP: From: SW1 GE1 to SW2 GE1 (from VLAN1 to VLAN1)
Connected by UTP: From: SW1 GE13 to SW2 GE13 (from VLAN2 to VLAN2)
I know i can use LAG and trunk for transfering this two VLAN but is it possible transfer by this double connection (one UTP transfering VLAN1) (seccond UTP transfering VLAN2)
Because when i connected like this its doesnt work. Only one VLAN work seccond its marked BACKUP.
Both VLANS are configured - all ports access untaged but i thing problem is when i double connect ports between switches SWITCH to TRUNK i dont know why its switching to TRUNK when i set acces...
