Can i user all the uplink and the stacking ports when i convert the switch from stacking mode to standalone switch ? , that mean i will have 4 SFP+ ports all of them working as uplink

Dude,

If you use the switch is standalone mode all the ports are available as standard ports and can be used as an uplink

 

Non-Stacking standalone option: ā€¢ Ports XG3/S1 and XG4/S2 available as standard network ports ā€“ Speedā€”1G or 10G ā€¢ Port S1, S2 and 5G are not available ā€¢ Ports XG1 and XG2 are available as standard network ports ā€“ Speedā€”1G or 10G

Hi,

These are the uplink options for Cisco 500 series#

Stacking Option One (default option):
ā€¢ Ports XG3/S1 and XG4/S2 are configured as stack ports
ā€“ Speedā€”1G, 10G, 1G/10G-auto
ā€“ 5G is not available
ā€¢ Ports XG1 and XG2 are available as standard network ports
ā€“ Speedā€”1G or 10G

Stacking Option Two:
ā€¢ Ports XG3/S1 and XG4/S2 are not available
ā€¢ Port S1, S2 and 5G are configured as stack ports
ā€“ Speedā€”1G, 5G, 1G/5G-auto

ā€¢ Ports XG1 and XG2 are available as standard network ports
ā€“ Speedā€”1G or 10G

Non-Stacking standalone option:
ā€¢ Ports XG3/S1 and XG4/S2 available as standard network ports
ā€“ Speedā€”1G or 10G
