SG550X Stack Admin Password Recovery

We have a switch stack with six (6) Cisco SG550X switches, and the admin password has been lost. If we follow the standard process (see reference below) for password recovery without loosing the config will that process keep the existing stack configuration? Or would we need to run the recovery on each individual switch?

Are there any other steps we need to be mindful of, given this is a stack?

Following the steps applied on the master switch should be ok for the whole stack.

Hello
Ive never perfromed pwd recovery on those type of switchs but I have on 3750,3850, stacks
The management credentials all reside on the master switch, so powerdown the stack and perform a password recovery on the master switch then when you have completed that proceedure restart the stack and your should be good.

In our setup, I powered down all the switches except the master. I then restarted the master and ran the documented recovery procedure. Once all done, I then restarted the master normally and then returned the other stack switches. All was good.

Thank you for the input, glad all fixed now.. cheers !
