is there a command available to run diagnostics in ASR port/SPA? the one below is from a juniper remote device.

i was only able to find 'test interface' but haven't run this yet (currently in production). thanks in advance!

ivan,

you're awesome! thanks!

i tried googling for CLI commands for ASR but only gave me specs. would highly appreciate if you could give me a link?

>sh hw-module subslot 0/0 transceiver 4 status

The Transceiver in slot 0 subslot 0 port 4 is enabled.

  Module temperature                        = +32.437 C

Transceiver Tx supply voltage             = 3271.0 mVolts

Transceiver Tx bias current               = 28796 uAmps

Transceiver Tx power                      =  2.9 dBm

Transceiver Rx optical power              = -26.6 dBm

>sh hw-module subslot 0/0 transceiver 4 idprom detail

IDPROM for transceiver GigabitEthernet0/0/4:

Description                               = SFP optics (type 3)

Transceiver Type:                         = GE ZX (23)

thanks a lot!

Welcome and thanks for ratings!

Hello guys,

there is a way to enable log on ASR 1000 for transceiver problem about TX/RX power?

i can see the values of TX RX by the command : sh hw-module subslot 0/0 transceiver xxx....., but if i have a problem the device doesn't reply any logs....

thks,

Ale
