Hi Guys,
Is it possible to show the exact temperature value on 2960-G? When I issued command "show env temperature", the switch only displayed information below:
SW2960G#sh env temperature
TEMPERATURE is OK
But on my other switch, when I issued the same command, the switch returned a more detailed information like below:
SW3850#sh environment temperature
Switch 1: SYSTEM TEMPERATURE is OK
Inlet Temperature Value: 29 Degree Celsius
Temperature State: GREEN
Yellow Threshold : 46 Degree Celsius
Red Threshold : 56 Degree Celsius
Is it the 2960-G's IOS limitation?
Thank you.

Ah, I see. But is it possible for SNMP to catch the trap for temperature? I've seen monitoring system like OpManager and Solarwinds able to capture the device's SNMP. Is it possible to capture the temperature via the monitoring system? Or still not? Hehehe.
Thanks.
