Simple Routing question

So working to get my CCNA and have a home lab created. (Please view PDF/Configs) I am using RIP v2 routing on all links. Now the main switch is not Cisco its a linksys home router basically connected to the WAN and using it as a dumb switch via built in ports. Devices connected directly to it can ping it (192.168.28.1) and FRS is setup to reach out to WAN.

My Problem is devices connected to FRS router are able to pass traffic THROUGH 192.168.28.1 though not able to ping directly to it nor reach WAN. I am sure this is a simple routing issue and me being a "baby" when it comes to Cisco (need to start somewhere ) I am just puzzled by this issue.

Any input would help me tremendously!

<SH IP ROUTES>

R2:

Gateway of last resort is not set

R    192.168.28.0/24 [120/1] via 192.168.3.1, 00:00:16, Serial0/1

C    192.168.9.0/24 is directly connected, FastEthernet0/0

     192.168.3.0/30 is subnetted, 1 subnets

C       192.168.3.0 is directly connected, Serial0/1

FRS:

Gateway of last resort is 192.168.28.1 to network 0.0.0.0

C    192.168.28.0/24 is directly connected, FastEthernet2/0

R    192.168.9.0/24 [120/1] via 192.168.3.2, 00:00:14, Serial2/0

     192.168.3.0/30 is subnetted, 1 subnets

C       192.168.3.0 is directly connected, Serial2/0

S*   0.0.0.0/0 [1/0] via 192.168.28.1

In a nutshell FRS can ping 192.168.28.1 and R2 cannot though both are able to reach R4.

I am glad that you figured out the answer to your problem. Thanks for posting back to the forum and closing the loop on this issue. It makes the forum more useful when people can read about an issue and can then read the solution to that issue. You have contributed to that process
