Hello Experts,
Could anyone confirm if the following model support VLAN trunking? We are planning to replace a Dell PowerConnect 2724 switch which cannot properly talk to our Catalyst 3750-X. We have discovered that Dell switch requires GVRP enabled to send VLAN trunking to Cisco switches.
Due to budget constraints we are looking into buying a small business cheaper Cisco switch such as this one:
Catalyst 3560CG-8PC-S

Thank you so much!

Yes, this switch will play nicely with your 3750-X inclusive trunking (and other stuff):

Gvrp is equivalent to vtp in Cisco. And 3750x is definitely supporting trunking but for inter vlan u need to have the iOS license
If you don't need the layer3 function and for layer 2 function only use2960
