Hi Guy's,
We have a Catalyst 3560 Switch that 2 years ago we did setup a SNMP community and an IP address so that only this IP address can read the snmp traps.
now the IP of the machine has been changed and we have to also change the community and IP address,
can we simply run this commned:
snmp-server community public
snmp-server host 192.180.1.111 version 1 public
Does this change the current configurd SNMP or will create a new group with this new address?
Thanks

Hi,
You have to delete the old one first and than add the new one.
If you just add the new one, you will have 2 statements with 2 different IPs and 2 groups.

Hi,
