Hi All

Can anyone tell me exactly what the below command actually does?

snmp-server enable traps mac-notification threshold

What action will it send traps on, the threshold of what exactly?

Hi
It sends traps when a mac is added/removed to the CAM table , depends on the device what the threshold would be , on 3650 it only allows it based on change or move of the mac address on the interface but on other switches like 65s you can set a limit or interval with that threshold too if the software supports it

limit percentage
Specifies the percentage of the CAM utilization; valid values are from 1 to 100 percent.

interval seconds
Specifies the time in seconds between notifications; valid values are greater than or equal to 120 seconds.
