Hello, I have been trying to convert existing SNMPV2 to SNMPv3 on multiple switches and routers but it is failing.
This is the config I have been using:
snmp-server view ALL-ACCESS iso included
snmp-server group myGroup v3 priv read ALL-ACCESS
snmp-server user myUser myGroup v3 auth sha ~4q^gL]9H4~X>>Z; priv des [3Z&Waaw!=%U_M{r
I continually receive 'could not create SNMP session' errors. I have tried to use a very simple password and I have tried by removing the encryption component. Nothing succeeds.
I attach the full config of the Cisco router (which includes the exising SNMPv2 config.
Thank you kindly for any help.
