In regards to using an ACL under the "user", is the ACL where you enter the IP of the receiver/Solarwinds, PRTG, etc?
Under the "group" config, for what circumstances do you just want read access or only write access, or both?
Communities are no longer used in version 3 correct as I see communities under configs that are for version 3 so I am just confirming that configs as such are just incorrect (wondering why it was allowable syntex or perhaps is was allowed because it is actually pertaining to version 2 meaning someone got configs confused and was entering configs for version 2 and 3??
