Need help setting up SLA on 2 IP phones in a small business. The company has 2 lines, when a incoming call comes in on line 1, both IP phones ring. However, if user A answers her IP phone and wants to transfer to User B, user B gets a dial tone when pressing line 1 on his phone.
On the configuration utility, I had set the phone tab and extension 1 tab to shared instead of the default privacy selections. I changed these setting for both IP phones. When this was done, I got some orange and red lights next to the line selection buttons on both phones. Also, the both phones said no line 1 or 2.
Do I need to only set up the shared feature for only one IP phone, or both. I'm also confused with the shared userID tab, and what to put in for this selection. Again, do I mirror everything for both phones?
