Hi.
When I log in remotely via SSH to a switch via laptop or another switch, after I enter the password connection freezes. It disconnects after 2-3 minutes.
Anyone had this issue before? Any ideas?
I cannot access this switch locally.
Thank you

Try the latest gold star software release on the switch.

Could you try the following:
If you are using a software to do SSH to server please change the keepalive time
For example in putty:

And could you clarify the following:
What type of software are you using for SSH?
Is the switch new or already configuered?
Can you access the switch with other laptop/devices?
Are you able to access the GUI of the switch?

Just to clarify so you think the issue is in your laptop or the switch or particular switches?

Hi.
It happens from anywhere you ssh from. Switch, laptop etc.
Username is entered and after yo type the password and press enter it just hangs.

Hi
I had a similar problem a time ago, telnet was the only way to connect remotely, but it was fixed upgrading the IOS.
Hope it is useful.
